Full & Part-time Teaching Positions
Siloam Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Church Siloam Springs, provides a Christ-centered education to homeschooling families via a classroom environment. We are dedicated to an educational process that honors God first, partners with parents, and serves students by providing a practical, genuine and balanced education. Our curriculum is comprehensive and intentionally designed to foster an awareness of God in every aspect of life and learning. Our school hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
SCS staff believe families are among the masterpieces of God’s creation and one of the foundation stones of the Christian worldview; as such they are to be nurtured and supported for the welfare of the children. We carefully regulate the amount of work students and teachers take home to support their family time. We are currently interviewing for 1st, 5th, 7th and 8th grade teaching positions.
To be considered for employment, applicants must:
Complete an online application:
Affirm they are in full agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith, its mission and vision.
Be an active member of a local Christian church recognized by FBC pastoral staff as sharing the central tenets of Christianity and whose Statement of Faith is not in conflict with the SCS Statement of Faith.
Possess a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university, or provide sufficient evidence of experience and training to establish their ability to teach effectively within the classroom.
Pass a professional interview, a Child Maltreatment Registry review and a national, fingerprint-based criminal background check.
