Overview

Extracurricular Activities

Academic success is great, and co-curricular activities provide different opportunities to learn important skills in leadership, service, faith, problem-solving and decisiveness. Whether it is arts, sports fundamentals or technical skills, SCS welcomes these activities on its campus.

This is why Siloam Christian School partners with independent local education service providers who offer courses in sports fundamentals, art, 3d printing, foreign language and more. SCS provides the space for these independent providers to teach their courses during non-school hours. This ensures parents have options for their family without increasing expenses for the school as a whole. If you are an education provider or want to learn more, email the school superintendent Jim Wilmeth for details.

Art

Various independent providers present classes in several art mediums, carefully organized in stand-alone 9 week courses. Just as God created us, he empowers us to create, and we support our students producing drawings, paintings, sculptures and more!

Fundamental Athletics

Local providers teach fundamental skills necessary for individual and team sports participation along with health and physical fitness fundamentals such as running mechanics, jumping basics, warm-up structure, mobility, and safe training habits. Students develop speed, coordination, athletic movement, and an understanding of how athletes prepare their bodies for training.
